I grew up in a small village town in Connecticut and found my joy and comforts playing in the woods and camping with my family. I enjoyed learning how to play a variety of musical instruments and eventually attended college at the University of Connecticut where I majored in Music Education, graduating in 1989. I became a public school music teacher and for fifteen years I have enjoyed working with children allowing them to express their creativity through song, dance, movement, theatre and playing instruments. After graduating college, I also began my journey of inward exploration and started to look at my emotions, patterning and thought forms regarding my biological family, childhood years, co-workers and friends. I began traditional therapy which worked out well for a few years and then I met other like-minded people who were exploring relationships between one's emotions and health and how it affected one's energy field.
I began working with a few energy healers who taught me many things associated with the energetic system of one's body including the energy field, chakras, kundahlini, meridians, music and much more. I learned about karma, how to tune inward to the body and unlock karmic records and memories of my more recent ancestry so I could heal and forgive and release emotions and pain stored within the biology. I also explored a few of the religions out there to see what they had to say but did not stay with any group for very long. I was clearing my karma with them and retrieving lost spiritual information given away in my ancestry from long ago (see Following One's Guidance Within).
In 2001 I discovered a group of people also interested in focusing inward on clearing their own patterning, thought forms and karma and I joined their organization called the Spiritual School of Ascension (see Related Links). I attended many of their workshops and conferences and learned that they held a bigger purpose which is to support the global evolution (ascension) of Earth and all species living therein and this resonated deeply with an inner truth and compass I had been following most of my life. I have been a part of their school ever since and have offered workshops during their conferences as well as offer one on one consultations to those whom read their materials.
I have learned many valuable tools on working with the energy field, healing traumas and wounds of the past in one's childhood and ancestry as well as researching and forgiving karma for one's ancestry. This work gives me great joy and I especially enjoy working with others to assist them in their spiritual growth and awakening so they too may open up to their own unique truth, inner guidance and healing within (see Healing Work).
